Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist patients with mobility, exercise routines, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in their care plans.

• Aid patients during meals, including preparation and providing feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in managing their medication administration.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and notify the supervising nurse of any changes in their condition.

• Record the care provided in accordance with organizational standards.

• Perform additional duties as required to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Certified Home Health Aide certificate from California.

• Hold a current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read, comprehend written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrate genuine empathy and patience towards patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintain a professional demeanor, showing tact and attention to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is preferred but not required.
