Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skincare.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities in accordance with the care plan.

• Aid patients during meal times, including preparation and providing feeding assistance when required.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care delivered in compliance with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as needed for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a California Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• A valid driver’s license along with an insured and dependable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Capable of reading and following written instructions, as well as accurately documenting care.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.

• Demonstrated empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is a plus.
