Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skincare.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities according to the care plan.

• Provide support to patients during meals, including preparation and feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Aid patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in compliance with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as needed to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a California Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• A valid driver’s license along with an insured and dependable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Capable of reading, following written instructions, and documenting care accurately.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Must demonstrate genuine empathy and patience towards patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is preferred.
