Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, encompassing bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skincare.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities according to the care plan.

• Provide support to patients during meals, including meal preparation and feeding assistance as necessary.

• Measure and record vital signs as instructed.

• Aid patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Document the care provided in line with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as required to ensure patient services are met.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification accredited by the AHA.

• A valid driver's license and an insured, dependable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Proficient in reading, following written instructions, and accurately documenting care.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Possess genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintain professionalism, tact, and attentiveness to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Dept. of Social Services) is a plus.
