Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, which include bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities according to the care plan.

• Provide support for patients during meals, including meal preparation and feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and record vital signs as instructed.

• Aid patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Document the care provided in alignment with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as necessary to support patient services.

• Offer compassionate, hands-on assistance directly in patients' homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from AHA is required.

• A valid driver's license and an insured, reliable vehicle are necessary.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care is essential.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Must demonstrate genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professionalism, tactfulness, and attention to personal hygiene standards are required.

• Registration on the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Dept. of Social Services) is a plus.
