Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, which include bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skincare.

• Assist patients with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients during meals, from preparation to providing feeding assistance when necessary.

• Take and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in accordance with organizational guidelines.

• Carry out additional duties as required for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• A valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read, adhere to written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful communication, and attention to personal hygiene standards.
