Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities according to the care plan.

• Support patients during meals, including food preparation and feeding assistance when required.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Aid patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in accordance with organizational guidelines.

• Carry out additional duties as necessary for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• A valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read and follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrates genuine empathy and patience towards patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintains professionalism, tact, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is a plus.
