This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with the manager to execute comprehensive e-commerce brand-specific strategies that align with business goals and online sales objectives.
• Work alongside merchandising and buying teams to impact product assortment and enhance productivity.
• Ensure that merchandising practices adhere to best practices and are executed promptly, creating an intuitive and engaging shopping experience.
• Partner with Digital Experience teams to identify and resolve issues while optimizing the site experience.
• Maintain effective product categorization, filtering, and navigation.
• Collaborate with ISU to implement necessary changes.
• Guarantee accuracy and consistency of product information across all online platforms.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on category and brand performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, average order value, traffic, and bounce rates.
• Observe competitor activities and modify strategies as required.
• Coordinate with buying, merchandising, and external brand partner teams to align on strategies for brand growth.
• Work with digital experience teams to implement website improvements and resolve technical challenges.
• Address ad hoc requests, present findings, and proactively provide recommendations.
• Transform large data sets into easily digestible insights that drive action.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in category management, ideally within an e-commerce setting.
• Experience in retail buying, merchandising, or digital marketing is also beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, their functionalities, and industry best practices.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and product information management (PIM) systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is preferred.
