This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in the development and implementation of assortment and POG planning processes.
• Create analyses and solutions regarding product distribution, promotions, pricing, and planogramming.
• Prepare and deliver category reviews, business reviews, analyses, and recommendations based on insights.
• Convert consumer, shopper, category, and retailer insights into actionable growth strategies and tailored recommendations.
• Lead category analytics initiatives that support Sales, Category Leadership, and various cross-functional partners.
• Identify opportunities for joint business planning, strategic account planning, and retailer-specific growth within customers and channels.
• Examine customer business performance utilizing syndicated, retailer, proprietary, shopper card, POS, and internal financial data.
• Influence retailer category strategies through insights and recommendations tailored to specific accounts.
• Streamline analytics and business intelligence processes to enhance decision-making and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Insights, Intelligence, Category Strategy, and other functional teams.
• Lead or assist with category leadership plans, national category growth narratives, retailer-specific action plans, and category roadmaps.
• Utilize data sources and analytical tools to identify risks, competitive threats, growth opportunities, and effective solutions.
• Establish expertise in syndicated data, advanced analytics, visualization, statistical analysis, and presentation skills.
• Participate in market visits, retail audits, account calls, business planning sessions, shopper insight activities, and training as necessary.
• Commit to personal growth and professional development for prospective roles within the organization.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or analytical roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong skills in analysis, computer systems, written communication, and verbal communication.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to internal support systems, customer systems, and evolving analytical tools.
• Familiarity with syndicated sales data software such as IRI or Nielsen.
• Experience with retailer systems like Retail Link, Luminate, ATLAS, Crisp, or similar systems (not mandatory).
• Background in using ProSpace or other space planning and category management tools (not mandatory).
• Knowledge or experience in Category Management (not mandatory).
• Experience collaborating with customer teams, sales teams, or cross-functional commercial partners (not mandatory).
