This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of the creation, production, and upkeep of recurring reports, including monthly Category Performance Scorecards, weekly retailer reports, and feature/promo trackers.
• Conduct data preparation, validation, and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with ad-hoc data and analysis requests for Sales and Marketing teams.
• Perform basic analysis to uncover shopper trends, behaviors, and opportunities for category growth.
• Support promotion performance evaluations, assortment/line reviews, and innovation initiatives.
• Standardize reporting and analytical processes across various business units and retailers.
• Document processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on customer meetings, category reviews, and strategic initiatives.
• Aid in the adoption of advanced analytics platforms.
• Contribute to scalable analytics as the business grows through innovation and new retail partnerships.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1-3 years of professional experience; internships or co-op positions in analytics, category management, retail, CPG, or market research are preferred.
• Strong academic performance with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills through coursework or projects.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, essential formulas, and charts.
• Comfortable working with large data sets from various sources, including data cleaning, standardization, and integration.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to present data clearly and craft compelling narratives by linking insights to business context.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• A collaborative team player enthusiastic about learning and contributing to cross-functional success.
• Genuine interest in consumer-packaged goods, retail dynamics, shopper behavior, and data-driven decision-making.
• Must have dependable high-speed internet access.
• Regular use of a computer workstation is required.
• Willingness to travel approximately once a month, possibly including overnight stays.
• Experience with syndicated retail data platforms like Circana/Nielsen is preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Experience in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations is preferred.
• Exposure to advanced Excel functions such as data modeling and macros is preferred.
