Cash Collection & Allocation Specialist, French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Reach out to external Hitachi Vantara clients regarding their invoice payments

• Serve as the initial point of contact for any invoice disputes and facilitate resolution with internal teams

• Supply customer account statements and documentation related to invoices upon request

• Execute cash allocation once receipts are deposited into the bank

• Address payment inconsistencies and finalize bookings in the general ledger

• Generate monthly reports on aging and unapplied cash

• Enhance customer aging quality, DSO results, cash forecast precision, minimize bad debt reserve, and ensure prompt resolution of collection issues

• Report key performance indicators to US corporate, local field finance management, controllership, and treasury

• Engage in OTC continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate outcomes

• Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments to guarantee efficient cash collection and timely receipts

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

• Strong command of French (minimum B2 level)

• Previous experience in customer service is highly advantageous

• Keen attention to detail and strong numerical skills

• Proficient in MS Excel for cash allocation and reporting duties

• Demonstrates courtesy and professionalism in communication

• Strong accuracy, accounting knowledge, and problem-solving abilities for inquiries related to invoices and account statements

• Exceptional time and task management skills

• Capability to work with clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
