Care Coordinator, Utilization Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Manage the operational elements of the Utilization Management team’s functions.

• Identify chances to enhance and refine utilization management processes.

• Enhance productivity and lessen administrative tasks.

• Collaborate and engage with internal departments, external partners, and vendors.

• Efficiently navigate across various electronic platforms.

• Achieve standard performance and quality benchmarks.

• Execute additional responsibilities as required and assigned.

• Interact with UM physician reviewers, external payer partners, and vendors.

• Report to and collaborate with the Manager of Operations, Utilization Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in utilization management, healthcare operations, or a similar field.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in utilization management software systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Valid US work authorization.
