This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute designated Care Coordination Services and Health Information Management responsibilities.
β’ Assess medical documents and electronically organize them into patient records.
β’ Administer orders, referrals, insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and patient medical documentation.
β’ Utilize client electronic health records (EHR) software and internal systems effectively.
β’ Manage high workloads while ensuring quality and precision.
β’ Employ data entry and typing abilities to efficiently process assignments.
β’ Participate in cross-training across various EHRs to enhance team support.
β’ Adhere to established filing procedures and seek guidance from documentation or supervisors when necessary.
β’ Implement client protocols, Service Level Agreements, Planning Guidelines, and targeted transactions per hour.
β’ Monitor completed tasks, time taken, and transaction counts.
β’ Fulfill assigned duties and communicate any variances, delays, or resolutions to management.
β’ Uphold HIPAA regulations and report any breaches.
β’ Deliver professional and courteous customer service to clients, vendors, visitors, colleagues, and management.
β’ Attend obligatory meetings and training sessions.
β’ Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support departmental and organizational operations.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
β’ Experience with health information management principles, EHRs, and/or medical terminology is advantageous.
β’ Skilled in operating within a high-volume, fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy.
β’ Intermediate computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to company-specific software.
β’ Adept at efficiently navigating multiple open programs, windows, and applications.
β’ Strong focus on detail and precision is essential.
β’ Must be capable of performing physical activities such as sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, standing, walking, driving, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
β’ Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be necessary.
β’ Ability to complete responsibilities remotely while ensuring access to reliable internet in a designated, secure, and private workspace.
β’ Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines and procedures while maintaining confidentiality regarding business matters and sensitive information.
β’ Must comply with the compliance standards agreed upon by the company/client.
β’ Opportunity to work remotely from your own home office.
