This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Respond to incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to established protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Deliver compassionate customer support utilizing both scripted and unscripted responses.
• Monitor a significant volume of medical alerts and alarms, providing genuine care in potentially high-stress situations.
• Accurately document call details, dispatches, and messages in a real-time database while maintaining a strong focus.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive experience for all members.
• Verify and update customer information within the system to maintain accurate records.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report any issues to ensure prompt maintenance.
• Proactively discuss and suggest preventative healthcare services to members.
• Manage access to highly sensitive information while upholding strict confidentiality.
• Engage in simultaneous conversation and typing while efficiently navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Successfully complete the new hire training program and pass all required compliance tests.
• Carry out other assigned duties as needed.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure circumstances.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient typing skills at a rate of 35 WPM.
• Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
• Capability to switch between multiple screens and systems efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, ideally within contact center or healthcare environments.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as necessary.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload are required.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including extended periods of sitting, frequent use of telephone/headset/computer, data entry, occasional standing and walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
