This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to established protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Deliver empathetic customer support utilizing both scripted and unscripted responses.
• Oversee a large volume of medical alerts and alarms, providing sincere care during potentially stressful circumstances.
• Accurately document call details, dispatches, and messages in a database in real-time while maintaining focus and precision.
• Engage with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive experience for members.
• Verify and refresh customer information in the system to maintain accurate records.
• Diagnose alarm system issues and report them to ensure prompt maintenance.
• Actively inquire about and suggest preventative healthcare services to members.
• Manage access to highly confidential materials and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
• Talk and type simultaneously while efficiently navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Successfully complete the new hire training program and pass all required compliance assessments.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and empathy in high-pressure situations.
• Self-driven with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient typing skills (minimum 35 WPM).
• Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
• Ability to efficiently switch between multiple screens and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and varied hours as needed.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload are required.
• Capability to meet physical demands including extended periods of sitting, frequent use of telephone/headset/computer, data entry, occasional standing/walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
