This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Respond to incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to established protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Deliver empathetic customer support utilizing both scripted and unscripted responses.
• Monitor a significant volume of medical alerts and alarms, providing genuine care during potentially high-stress situations.
• Accurately record call details, dispatches, and messages in real-time into a database while maintaining concentration and precision.
• Engage with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a favorable experience for members.
• Verify and update customer information within the system to maintain accurate records.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report any issues to guarantee timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and suggest preventive healthcare services to members.
• Manage access to sensitive materials while upholding strict confidentiality.
• Efficiently communicate and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Successfully complete training for new hires and pass all necessary compliance assessments.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and empathy in high-pressure environments.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient typing skills (minimum of 35 WPM).
• Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
• Capability to switch efficiently between multiple screens and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as necessary.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload are required.
• Must reside in one of the eligible U.S. states listed.
• Must successfully complete new hire training and all required compliance testing.
• Ability to meet physical demands including prolonged sitting, frequent use of telephone/headset/computer, data entry, occasional standing and walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
