This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Address and resolve account challenges with customized solutions.
• Create strategic territory plans that align with shared priorities to enhance product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office staff to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Utilize market, competitive, and cross-functional knowledge to identify opportunities and address challenges proactively.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to reveal local insights and assist in pull-through efforts.
• Conduct impactful customer engagements both virtually and in-person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to address complex challenges.
• Work collaboratively across functions to respond to customer needs promptly.
• Provide real-time access support and collaborate with Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies to customize outreach in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Act as the primary contact for accounts and healthcare providers.
• Establish significant customer connections and connect customers with Novartis resources.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution is required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the past 5 years.
• Candidates from complex sales environments such as medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated history of consistent high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Strong analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and apply relevant information for solving customer issues.
• Ethical leadership capabilities and a commitment to fostering ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or be within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geographical area.
• Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory Account Specialist: 2+ years of experience in a similar sales position within the last 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: 5+ years of experience in a similar sales position within the last 5 years.
• Executive Territory Account Specialist: 10+ years of experience in a similar sales position within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions in a matrix environment.
• Proficient in communicating clinical product information clearly.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate vaccination.
• Must successfully complete required initial training, which includes home study not exceeding 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
