Cardiology NP / PA / RN – ATTR Clinical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review patient records and evaluate the possibility of ATTR cardiac amyloidosis, even in cases with incomplete data.

• Identify pertinent clinical indicators, including patient history and diagnostic results such as PYP scans.

• Provide clear documentation with evidence-based rationale.

• Differentiate ATTR from other similar conditions.

• Uphold consistent labeling practices.

• Update assessments in response to new evidence and feedback from AI models.

• Communicate clinical decisions to technical teams effectively.

• Adhere to labeling deadlines.

• Enhance an AI model designed to identify patients likely suffering from transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis.

• Conduct patient case labeling and apply evidence-based clinical reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• NP, RN, or PA credentials.

• Over 5 years of experience focused on cardiology.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a Heart Failure or ATTR-specific clinic.

• Practical experience in evaluating or managing suspected or confirmed ATTR cardiomyopathy.

• Familiarity with PYP scans relevant to professional scope.

• Strong clinical judgment capabilities.

• Ability to articulate decisions using clear and structured criteria.

• Able to dedicate 10 to 20 hours per week in addition to clinical practice.

• Must be a US-based clinician.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Unable to accommodate H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.

• Preferred: experience at an amyloidosis center of excellence or a cardiomyopathy clinic.

• Preferred: contributions to ATTR-related research or publications.

• Preferred: previous involvement with AI/ML teams, clinical decision-support systems, or clinical chart abstraction and labeling.
