Cantonese Language Specialist – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Execute audio segmentation and annotation tasks.

• Assess and verify segmentation quality for quality control assignments.

• Adhere to project specifications while ensuring high-quality results.

• Engage with Cantonese-English audio recordings, breaking down conversations into natural speech units and annotating pertinent audio details.

• Manage recordings that may involve healthcare-related discussions and last up to 2 minutes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in spoken Cantonese and capable of reading and writing Traditional Chinese.

• Strong command of the English language.

• Background in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology.

• Experience with Cantonese Jyutping keyboard input.

• Excellent listening abilities and strong attention to detail.

• Capacity to maintain a minimum accuracy rate of 95%.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, a headset, and a reliable internet connection.

• Skill in time management and meeting deadlines.

• Willingness to undergo mandatory onboarding and pre-assessment.

• Cantonese speakers from Hong Kong and Malaysia are encouraged to apply.
