Candidate Experience Specialist – Onboarding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Ensure a seamless and exceptional candidate experience for all new hires.

• Act as the intermediary between hiring managers and employees.

• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure it is smooth, compliant, and positive.

• Serve as the subject matter expert regarding pre-employment requirements.

• Handle background checks, licensure verification, fingerprinting, drug screening, I-9 compliance, and other regulatory needs.

• Administer onboarding systems and manage workflows effectively.

• Organize pre-employment activities efficiently.

• Review documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.

• Collaborate with various departments throughout the organization.

• Provide support to hiring managers, Human Resources, and new employees.

• Confirm that all onboarding requirements are fulfilled and that new hires are authorized to start work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate Degree or 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.

• Equivalent educational background combined with 2 years of professional experience.

• Prior experience in a Human Resources Office is preferred.

• Preference given to Michigan residents.

• Must be vaccinated or have laboratory-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.

• Must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year of hire and subsequently on an annual basis, or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
