Candidate Experience Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Recruiters, hiring teams, and Recruiting leadership to comprehend and implement hiring strategies for each job requisition.

• Keep hiring process information accurate and current within the applicant tracking system and GitLab repositories.

• Oversee candidate scheduling and facilitate interview organization.

• Ensure prompt, thoughtful, and engaging communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey.

• Track candidate pipelines and identify any issues or bottlenecks.

• Draft and prepare employment contracts for candidates who receive offers.

• Collaborate with People Operations to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.

• Act as a brand ambassador by promoting GitLab's values, culture, and all-remote approach.

• Support a consistent, smooth, and inclusive hiring process across GitLab's global organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supporting end-to-end hiring processes in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing an applicant tracking system to schedule, monitor, and progress candidates through interview stages; experience with Greenhouse is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace and scheduling tools, with a willingness to learn and adopt additional tools as needed.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels, including executives.

• Strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to foster collaborative relationships across different time zones and functions while upholding confidentiality.

• A genuine interest in talent acquisition and contributing to an inclusive hiring process.

• Comfort operating in a fully remote, asynchronous environment, with the flexibility to assist candidates and hiring teams across various time zones.

• Must be located in the EST timezone.
