This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Coordinate cancer screening appointments with external healthcare providers.
• Contact facilities to gather availability and schedule appointments based on patient preferences and facility options.
• Assist patients in comprehending out-of-pocket expenses.
• Maintain the facilities database with precise and trustworthy information.
• Identify appropriate facilities considering insurance coverage, location, and patient preferences.
• Verify that facilities can conduct procedures, are in-network, and can accommodate patients.
• Retrieve appointment and referral outcomes from facilities through fax and phone communications.
• Review and manage the incoming fax queue, ensuring documents and results are uploaded correctly.
• Promptly inform patients about scheduled appointments, locations, and necessary preparation guidelines.
• Address patient inquiries and support requests.
• Accurately record appointment, order, and referral information in Color’s EHR system.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, rescheduling requirements, and access challenges.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Genuine enthusiasm for assisting patients in navigating the healthcare system.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and both verbal and written communication proficiency.
• Professional phone demeanor.
• Experience with EHR systems in a healthcare setting.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Apps and macOS.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs and priorities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment.
• Competence in managing stressful situations effectively.
• Access to a quiet, private, and secure work environment that safeguards patient health information and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in Spanish with the ability to engage in fluent conversations.
• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
• Must not require company assistance or sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM PST/EST.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Assignment duration of 3 to 6 months.
• Monday to Friday schedule.
• Flexible time-zone preference between PST and EST.
