Call Center Triage Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +46 more states.

📋 Description

• Extend care during and outside the regular hours of Oak Street Health clinics by addressing patients’ medical, social, and psychological needs through telephone communication.

• Deliver confident and professional service to OSH patients.

• Adhere to the current Prescription Refill policy.

• Stay engaged with patients, minimizing background distractions.

• Document calls clearly and accurately.

• Complete documentation for all patient requests before concluding calls.

• Monitor the CareReq queue and ensure all CareReqs are addressed.

• Fulfill tasks and requests that fall within the role’s scope and capability.

• Arrange off-schedule or requested patient appointments.

• Coordinate transportation for clinic visits.

• Aim to achieve organizational and departmental metrics.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, non-probationary state Registered Nurse license in all states where OSH operates.

• Strong PC skills and computer literacy.

• Basic proficiency in Google Suite and ability to navigate various systems.

• Previous experience working remotely.

• Capability to secure high-speed internet and connect hardware to a router/modem.

• A private, distraction-free remote work environment.

• Reliable dependent care available during working hours.

• Ability to provide personal transportation when on-site support is needed for employees within 50 miles of a physical OSH location/center.

• Willingness to participate in classroom-style remote training sessions.

• High levels of conscientiousness, professionalism, and reliability in a remote work setting.

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with consistent reliability.

• Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Authorization to work in the US.
