California Civil & Probate Litigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote, on-demand paralegal assistance to client law firms

• Assist with both short-term and long-term legal projects

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and various litigation documents

• Execute court filings and oversee calendaring and deadlines

• Organize and manage case files and discovery materials

• Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related activities

• Create and prepare legal documents

• Operate independently while offering reliable and responsive support

• Attend a 30-minute online meeting regarding The Freelance Firm and the opportunity

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of paralegal experience

• Significant experience with California civil and/or probate litigation

• Knowledge of California court rules, procedures, and filing requirements

• Experience in preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents

• Proficient in court filings, calendaring, and managing deadlines

• Capability to organize and manage case files and discovery materials

• Experience in coordinating hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related events

• Strong skills in drafting and document preparation

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Reliable, responsive, and capable of working independently
