CAD Solution Designer – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop 3D planning and conceptual layouts for intralogistics systems utilizing Autodesk Inventor and Factory Design Utilities (FDU) based on established planning data.

• Produce dimensionally precise and traceable CAD layouts to assist in budgeting, quotations, and order execution phases.

• Transform approved system concepts into detailed 3D CAD designs.

• Update and maintain order layouts in line with approved modifications, collaborating with Solution Design and relevant specialist departments.

• Integrate and position standardized system components from the Kardex intralogistics library within Inventor FDU.

• Evaluate drawings for geometric plausibility, completeness, clash-free design, and adherence to applicable CAD standards.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Inventor FDU library, especially for standardized CAD components and templates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in creating technical 3D CAD drawings using Autodesk Inventor is crucial.

• Demonstrated expertise with Factory Design Utilities (FDU) and the creation of system layouts is mandatory.

• Skilled in managing large assemblies, layers, references, library components, and drawing derivations.

• Completed technical training, such as Technical Product Designer, Technical Drafter, or Design Engineer, or possess a technical degree with a strong emphasis on CAD.

• Exceptional spatial awareness.

• High level of accuracy in drawing.

• Organized and dependable work approach.

• Proficient in German language skills.

• Good command of English for engaging with technical documentation, software interfaces, and international CAD standards.

• Familiarity with the intralogistics sector is beneficial.

• Basic knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, ReCap Professional, and iLogic is preferred.
