C# Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and implement new RESTful APIs and backend microservices.

• Enhance, optimize, and boost the performance of the core messaging platform.

• Maintain high quality standards through unit testing.

• Engage in the design of integration tests.

• Collaborate with the product team to gather and clarify requirements.

• Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate alignment between engineering teams and business objectives.

• Contribute to the design, development, and advancement of a high-performance, reliable, globally distributed messaging platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive knowledge of .NET Core and C#.

• Strong comprehension of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.

• Proficient in developing multi-threaded applications and asynchronous programming.

• Familiarity with queue engines such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms for building scalable and dependable applications.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

• Practical experience with heavily loaded, mission-critical, scalable distributed systems in production is a plus.

• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio or similar service mesh technologies is advantageous.

• Exposure to communications or messaging domains is beneficial.

• Experience with AI tools and frameworks, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or LLM APIs, is preferred.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in designing or building AI agents.
