C# Developer, .NET – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create clean, maintainable, testable, and reusable C# code in accordance with business requirements and user stories.

• Design, develop, and support backend applications and services utilizing .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.

• Develop and implement RESTful APIs that adhere to best practices and scalable architecture principles.

• Manage SQL Server tasks, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• Utilize Entity Framework Core and ADO.NET for efficient data access and persistence.

• Create automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and dependability.

• Apply principles of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices.

• Collaborate through Git-based workflows and engage in code reviews.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Work with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based architectures.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical, functional, and performance-related issues.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of code quality, architecture, scalability, and development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Practical experience with the .NET Framework, including the maintenance and enhancement of legacy systems.

• Strong background in .NET 8+ and ASP.NET Core for contemporary backend development.

• Solid expertise in Entity Framework Core and ADO.NET.

• Proven track record in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, relational database design, and query optimization techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and clean coding standards.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.

• Experience with Git in collaborative development settings.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment methodologies.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application infrastructures.

• Background in agile development environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on maintaining code quality.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
