Business Systems Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance architectural solutions for enterprise platforms.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to address intricate technical challenges.

• Lead architecture projects that align with functional strategies.

• Facilitate AI enablement, automation, integrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Transform unclear stakeholder requirements into prioritized projects with measurable success metrics.

• Manage the intake of requirements, discovery processes, process mapping, impact assessments, and scoping.

• Finalize design solutions and oversee the complete technical implementation process.

• Organize testing phases, support user acceptance testing, resolve any defects, deploy solutions, validate results post-deployment, and reconcile historical data.

• Oversee data quality monitoring, cleansing, validation, migration/backloading, and reconciliation.

• Develop and maintain the architecture for IT-managed systems and platforms.

• Convert business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Define integration strategies for SaaS and cloud platforms.

• Assess emerging technologies and provide recommendations for solutions.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.

• Enhance system performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.

• Offer technical mentorship and guidance.

• Contribute to the development of architectural standards, documentation, and best practices.

• Assist in vendor evaluations and the selection of technology.

• Oversee enterprise platforms, including role-based access controls, license management, and cost optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with enterprise systems, cloud/hybrid environments, and integration design (API, SaaS).

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Certinia, Rippling, and Greenhouse.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting complex technical issues.

• Capable of communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of security, governance, and performance optimization practices.

• A blend of hands-on execution capability and long-term architectural vision.

• 8+ years of experience in systems, application, or enterprise architecture, or similar positions.

• Experience with the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure, system design, and security principles.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and assess technical solutions.

• Familiarity with architectural frameworks or security/compliance standards.

• Experience in vendor selection or mentoring team members.

• Preferred experience with AI, automation, or modernization initiatives.
