Business System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business objectives, needs, and system requirements.

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate both business and functional requirements, as well as non-functional requirements.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Assess existing business processes, applications, systems, and workflows to pinpoint gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Work in partnership with solution architects, developers, QA teams, and other technical resources to ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements.

• Assist in systems analysis encompassing data flows, system integrations, APIs, interfaces, and application dependencies.

• Evaluate technical documentation, process flows, data models, and system designs.

• Lead stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and collaborative working sessions.

• Aid in the development and execution of test scenarios, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.

• Conduct impact analysis for system enhancements, changes, and new implementations.

• Maintain documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and requirements traceability matrices.

• Assist in implementation, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a robust technical background.

• Skilled in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Capable of translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.

• Experience in supporting the delivery of technology solutions.

• Proficient in analyzing business processes, applications, systems, and workflows.

• Familiarity with systems analysis, including data flows, system integrations, APIs, interfaces, and application dependencies.

• Ability to review technical documentation, process flows, data models, and system designs.

• Experienced in facilitating stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and collaborative sessions.

• Background in supporting test scenarios, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.

• Experience in performing impact analysis for system enhancements, changes, and new implementations.

• Capable of maintaining documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, and requirements traceability matrices.
