Business Process Consultant, Expert Services – ServiceNow Finance, Procurement & Legal Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as a functional and process authority within ServiceNow Expert Services customer implementation and delivery teams.

• Collaborate with clients to convert business requirements into configuration specifications for ServiceNow Finance & Supply Chain and Legal Contract Operations solutions.

• Serve as a process specialist for Finance, Source-to-Pay, Legal Operations, and/or Contracting divisions.

• Identify, redesign, enhance, and conduct gap analysis on existing and future-state processes during customer workshops.

• Guide customers in leveraging standard ServiceNow features and best practices, emphasizing configuration over customization.

• Facilitate customer design workshops concentrating on ServiceNow Platform and Solution capabilities.

• Assist key customer process owners and SMEs in collecting business requirements.

• Help customers complete business requirement workbooks and other necessary documentation.

• Create persona-based and functionality-focused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge-transfer documentation.

• Manage the user-story workflow from initial draft to finalization.

• Represent customer interests throughout engagements.

• Support internal unit testing alongside Technical Resources.

• Drive customer unit and user-acceptance testing requirements.

• Lead engagement project teams aimed at achieving successful customer results.

• Develop customer-facing process deliverables.

• Oversee multiple complex projects and initiatives.

• Foster continuous improvement in delivery and engagement materials.

• Provide support for sales activities as needed.

• Train and mentor members of the ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem upon request.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8+ years of consulting experience within complex, global organizations in Finance, Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Legal, and/or Contracting operations/technology departments.

• Proven capability to influence and consult within Finance, Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Legal, and/or Contracting organizations.

• Established experience in defining and implementing future-state processes while identifying people, process, and technology solutions.

• Strong knowledge of systems and tools such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, and Oracle Procurement Cloud.

• Previous experience with ServiceNow Finance & Supply Chain Solutions is preferred.

• Current certification as a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.

• Certification as a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is required.

• Accreditations in ServiceNow Supplier Lifecycle Operations, Sourcing & Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable Operations, and/or Legal Service Delivery are preferred.

• Significant experience in translating business requirements into configuration specifications through the creation of user stories supporting Agile Development.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Proficiency in Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience delivering Knowledge-Centered Service/Support using technologies.

• Background in analyzing and recommending strategies in Finance, Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Legal, and/or Contracting.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

• Ability to navigate cultural diversity effectively.

• Demonstrated capability as a team player and team builder.
