
Business Operations – Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of and enhance Gainbridge’s operating system, focusing on strategy, process, and execution.
• Manage the Annual Planning Cycle from initiation through to completion.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews, bi-monthly all-hands meetings, and prepare for quarterly Gainbridge Advisory Board sessions.
• Develop and oversee the annual Operational Plan while monitoring OKR progress.
• Identify risks for leadership and collaborate on monthly Standard Updates.
• Collect, verify, and organize data for Scorecard, TAC, MAC, COF, NPS, and premium run-rate.
• Facilitate quarterly business review meetings to ensure accountability and informed decision-making.
• Implement and revise workflow processes across various teams.
• Lead the Gainbridge Vendor Management Program, which includes onboarding, payments, budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, requests, renewals, and performance scorecards.
• Assess vendor purpose, pricing, tools, and alternatives.
• Manage Business Continuity planning, including BIA/BCP documentation and identifying critical processes.
• Oversee the Legal Compliance Workflow and monitor regulatory obligations.
• Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects from scoping and defining success criteria to launch.
• Establish company-wide project management standards and frameworks.
• Create scopes, timelines, dependency maps, and logs for risks and issues.
• Drive decision-making to completion and hold contributors accountable without formal authority.
• Prepare concise, leadership-ready updates for executive stakeholders.
• Manage the company-wide meeting system and establish communication/documentation standards.
• Maintain the Significant Events & Milestone Calendar.
• Oversee Gainbridge’s Confluence space, governance conventions, version control, and company-wide documentation.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business operations, strategy, chief of staff, or program management roles.
• Ideally possess experience in fintech, insurtech, or a regulated financial services setting.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from scope to delivery.
• Capable of developing plans, running cadences, managing risks, and achieving outcomes independently.
• Strong instincts for process design and the ability to create sustainable, adopted systems.
• Ability to operate at various levels and transition between strategic and operational tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating directly with senior leadership.
• Comfortable preparing materials for executive and board-level audiences.
• Familiarity with fintech vendor ecosystems, including KYC/AML tools and payment platforms or similar regulated technologies.
• Proficient in knowledge management and project tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Notion, or similar.
• Data fluent and comfortable with operational reporting.
• Bias towards action, low ego, and sound judgment.
• Experience in a chief of staff or strategy partner role supporting a COO, VP of Operations, or equivalent (preferred).
• Background in business continuity planning or enterprise risk management (preferred).
• Exposure to product analytics platforms such as Sigma (preferred).
• Comfortable with BI tools, SQL, or operational dashboards (preferred).
