This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the Atlassian architecture and governance within a multi-instance Cloud setting.
• Establish standards for permissions, SCIM/Okta identity management, large-scale Jira operations, customization, and simplification.
• Manage HIPAA/BAA compliance across products, Marketplace applications, integrations, and AI connectors like Rovo.
• Collaborate with procurement to formulate a licensing strategy that includes demand forecasts, tier and seat modeling, and renewal recommendations.
• Work alongside senior stakeholders to revamp workflows and operating models during consolidation efforts.
• Articulate platform strategy and renewal choices to executive stakeholders.
• Lead two delivery tracks for both internal HealthEdge teams and external clients through their managers.
• Supervise a shared platform architect function.
• Foster technical expertise internally and minimize dependence on external consultants.
• Define team ownership and delivery standards, reorganize work division, and mentor people leaders.
• Integrate an AI-first perspective into platform design and support.
• Deliver results incrementally through experimentation, calculated risks, and shorter delivery cycles.
• Travel as necessary for client interactions and leadership activities.
• Extensive, up-to-date hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud permissions, SCIM/identity provisioning, and Jira architecture at scale.
• Proficient in reading, debugging, and assessing admin tools developed using the Atlassian REST API; Python is preferred.
• Proven history of leading platform consolidation and workflow redesign through executive stakeholders in a post-M&A or multi-business-unit context.
• Preference for candidates with direct, in-house platform ownership experience over those with solely consulting or staffing backgrounds.
• Experience managing a platform in a regulated environment, such as HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI, FedRAMP, or GxP.
• Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian licensing and vendor management is advantageous; relevant enterprise platform licensing experience will also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to build or revitalize a team, establish performance standards, structure end-to-end ownership, and develop team members.
• An iterative delivery mindset with experience in replacing multi-quarter programs with shorter, value-driven cycles.
• AI-first methodology and experience in integrating AI into workflows.
• Geographic responsibility for remote work within the US.
• Capability to work across various time zones in a hybrid or remote work setup.
• Completion of a pre-employment criminal background check may be necessary.
• Flexibility to work remotely.
