Business Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver personalized, one-on-one management and business skills consulting to both startup and established small businesses across a 7-state service area, focusing on the vicinity of the office location.

• Create training materials and lead webinars and workshops focused on small business initiation and expansion.

• Foster connections with local community leaders to promote economic development initiatives.

• Perform financial and operational evaluations, pinpoint growth obstacles, and recommend strategies to enhance business performance and sustainability.

• Formulate scopes of services, financial forecasts, actionable plans, and financial literacy training.

• Examine financial data, including ratio analysis, to assist in decision-making and business growth.

• Establish and nurture relationships with community leaders, business owners, and partners.

• Advocate for economic development resources and identify funding or collaboration opportunities.

• Ensure accurate client documentation, reporting, timekeeping, and communication.

• Encourage team collaboration, staff training, and organizational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in business, management, finance, administration, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience in business ownership, startups, business development, operations, finance, consulting, or leadership roles focused on business growth or turnaround efforts; OR a bachelor's degree in a related field combined with at least 5 years of experience in these areas.

• Outstanding facilitation, writing, communication, computer, and analytical skills.

• Capability to develop workshops pertaining to small business management consulting.

• Proficient in establishing new and maintaining existing partnerships within target communities.

• Competent in working one-on-one with entrepreneurs to enhance business skills and management capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while being accountable for results.

• Capacity to assist in training other management consultants.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, an acceptable driving record, and at least state-minimum personal liability auto insurance coverage.

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

• Must currently reside in the Central Arkansas region.
