This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more states.
• Design and supervise Power Query transformations along with data modeling best practices.
• Perform design evaluations and offer continuous feedback to facilitate professional growth.
• Collaborate with business leaders to convert intricate business inquiries into actionable analytical solutions.
• Delegate tasks based on business significance, team capabilities, and organizational priorities.
• Lead and oversee a team of Business Intelligence Analysts to provide high-quality analytics solutions that align with business objectives.
• Create and assess Power BI semantic models, measures, reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Set and uphold quality standards, documentation requirements, peer reviews, and criteria for release readiness.
• Manage team backlog, capacity planning, and sprint or Kanban processes to ensure effective delivery.
• Guide team members in analytical thinking, problem structuring, stakeholder communication, and data storytelling.
• Oversee intake processes, prioritization frameworks, service level expectations, and stakeholder requests.
• Deliver insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Address risks, roadblocks, and resource issues while promoting resolution and accountability.
• Work alongside HR and Workday stakeholders to sustain current job profile competencies and analytics role standards.
• Implement competency frameworks and skills standards across Business Intelligence positions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics maturity and business decision-making.
• Maintain reusable datasets, report catalogs, user documentation, and self-service analytics resources.
• Develop and uphold visualization standards, reporting frameworks, and analytics best practices.
• Supervise Google BigQuery datasets with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support data governance initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and reliability across reporting assets.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse environments, Dataflows Gen2, and data pipelines.
• At least 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, delivering dashboards, reporting solutions, and insights for stakeholders.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role for analysts or serving as a technical lead or mentor.
• Demonstrable production experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with data governance, performance optimization, and analytics best practices is preferred.
• Desired certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst (PL 300), Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP 600), Google Professional Data Engineer, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PMI ACP.
• Required proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Planner.
• Required proficiency in Workday, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Copilot, Keeper Security, and applicable virtual machine environments.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, and data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience in optimizing Google BigQuery.
• Ability to create data visualizations and analytics products that adhere to presentation and storytelling best practices.
• Understanding of analytics governance, quality assurance, and documentation standards.
• Preferred technical skills include Python for analytics and automation, Git version control, and dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• This is an English-speaking role; all application documents and forms must be filled out in English.
