Business Intelligence Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +39 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain data pipelines that extract, transform, and assimilate data from various business systems.

• Create SQL queries, data models, and database architectures to facilitate enterprise reporting.

• Assist in the establishment and continuous enhancement of a centralized enterprise data warehouse.

• Organize, cleanse, and validate data to enhance accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Generate datasets and reporting solutions that support historical analysis, business performance monitoring, and operational KPIs.

• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and other departments to comprehend data needs and resolve integration or reporting issues.

• Proactively investigate data discrepancies, propose solutions, and deliver technical work with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Contribute to the development of a new business intelligence function from the ground up.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in business intelligence, data integration, database development, or similar technical data roles.

• Proficient SQL skills and experience working with relational databases, data models, and extensive datasets.

• Experience in constructing data pipelines and merging information from various systems.

• Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure-based data solutions, or comparable technologies.

• Experience in data transformation, data quality assurance, and historical data management.

• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Strong analytical capabilities, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently resolve technical challenges.

• A proactive mindset driven by ownership, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
