Business Immigration Associate, 4+ Yrs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Guide clients through immigration matters related to employment, from initial handoff to final submission.

• Take ownership of cases, develop legal strategies, and manage each milestone effectively.

• Handle or specialize in various visa categories including H-1B, L-1A/B, TN, E-1/E-2/E-3, O-1A, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, and PERM labor certification cases.

• Evaluate prospects to determine the legitimacy of their cases.

• Establish trust and set clear, honest expectations with clients.

• Maintain client relationships throughout the entire case lifecycle.

• Collaborate with paralegals for document collection, organization, and filing logistics.

• Provide advice to clients on petition strategies, responses to RFEs, and compliance obligations.

• Manage high-volume employer accounts, maintain HR contacts, and adhere to deadlines.

• Leverage Manifest's AI tools and technology to enhance case quality and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

• Active admission to the bar in the United States.

• Strong knowledge of employment-based immigration, including non-immigrant visa (NIV) and immigrant visa (IV) matters.

• Experience with visa categories such as H-1B, L-1A/B, TN, E-3, O-1A, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, and PERM labor certification.

• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, explaining complex legal concepts in simple terms.

• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with significant volume expectations.

• For Mid-Senior Level Associate: 4–7 years of experience with high-volume employment-based cases, such as H-1B, PERM, and/or intracompany-transfer matters.

• Ability to work directly with HR contacts.

• A proactive approach to ownership of tasks.
