This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a category strategy to foster growth and spearhead new business development within the designated category.

• Identify and explore new business prospects among existing partners.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with key vendors and strategic partners.

• Negotiate and secure advantageous terms and conditions to promote mutual success and accelerate growth within the category.

• Perform thorough market research and analysis to remain informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

• Collaborate with various internal teams to synchronize strategies and expedite new business development.

• Engage directly with key existing customers to comprehend their unique needs and challenges.

• Work closely with the product management team to spot opportunities for product expansion or development that align with existing customer demands.

• Generate insights and actionable steps for reseller partners and vendors.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of strategic selling principles, order management, project management, and operations.

• Advanced understanding of Ingram Micro’s solutions, products, services, and overall value proposition.

• Proven track record in achieving and maintaining year-over-year sales growth.

• Proficient in negotiations, closing sales, coaching associates within a high-performance culture, and order management.

• Capable of effectively managing profit and loss concepts and forecasting.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present in both technical and non-technical language to diverse audiences.

• Ability to exhibit business and financial acumen, influence effectively to promote ideas and initiatives with internal and external partners, multitask, adapt to rapid changes, manage projects, maintain attention to detail, nurture relationships and resources, and set realistic and achievable goals/objectives and timelines.

• Willingness to travel is necessary for conducting in-person customer engagements on a regular basis.
