This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Build and nurture relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
• Discover new business prospects, project leads, and areas for potential market expansion.
• Assist in long-term business development through customer engagement and relationship management.
• Work alongside internal sales and leadership teams to promote territory growth initiatives.
• Represent the company in a professional manner during client meetings, project discussions, trade shows, and industry events.
• Offer technical guidance and product support throughout project planning, design, and specification stages.
• Aid customers and project teams in selecting products, providing technical information, and offering application support.
• Support contractors and engineers during the bidding, proposal, and submittal process.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments to cater to ongoing projects and customer requirements.
• Present product demonstrations, presentations, and educational sessions for customers and industry professionals.
• Track market trends, customer insights, and industry developments to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing market presence and solidifying customer partnerships.
• Assist in creating technical marketing materials, specification resources, and product documentation.
• Provide field feedback and market insights to internal engineering, marketing, and product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in construction, engineered products, technical sales, project management, business development, or related sectors is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction documents, specifications, or technical submittals is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-driven with the ability to independently manage projects, customer relationships, and travel schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business software platforms.
• Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
