Business Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Team in meeting operational and financial targets for the US East Sales Cluster.

• Evaluate sales and cost performance at both total and customer levels.

• Proactively suggest ways to enhance performance.

• Oversee the monthly performance management process, assessing progress and deviations from the established plan.

• Monitor results and activities outlined in the Local Business Plan.

• Coordinate quarterly forecasting efforts.

• Analyze macroeconomic conditions and align forecasts with specific sales strategies.

• Create business cases for investments, customer engagements, and efficiency initiatives.

• Ensure that management decisions and performance metrics are guided by financial and operational data.

• Report directly to the SAA Business Control Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Business Controlling or a similar role within a manufacturing setting.

• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and accounting principles.

• High proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to question facts and identify viable solutions.

• Willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Adaptability and a positive response to change.

• Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Capacity to collaborate across the Americas, including interactions with colleagues in Brazil and Canada.

• Proficient in communicating findings in a clear and comprehensible manner.
