Business Consultant, Application Manager – Finance and People Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance and People & Organization teams and Business IT.

• Oversee software implementation and digitalization initiatives from requirement collection to go-live and ongoing support.

• Evaluate and enhance Finance and P&O business processes in collaboration with global stakeholders.

• Convert business requirements into scalable application solutions.

• Take ownership of and improve TOMRA's Finance and P&O application ecosystem, with a focus on IFS Cloud ERP and associated systems.

• Manage connections between internal systems, external partners, and software vendors.

• Assist in application lifecycle management, encompassing incidents, modifications, and continuous improvements.

• Deliver training and support to business users.

• Ensure proper maintenance of system and process documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in ERP Consulting, Application Management, Business Applications, or IT Project Management.

• Practical experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS Cloud; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is also appreciated.

• Background in Finance, Payroll, Time & Attendance, or HR/P&O processes.

• Strong skills in process analysis and optimization.

• Capability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

• Proactive approach with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
