Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume comprehensive responsibility for Business Central, guiding business requirements from initial concept to system implementation.

• Evaluate the needs of various business departments and convert them into effective technical solutions.

• Engage with stakeholders across business divisions, IT, and external partners.

• Independently execute minor modifications and enhancements utilizing AL.

• Question current processes, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and further develop Business Central.

• Ensure operational efficiency, stability, and a positive user experience.

• Investigate the root causes of incidents and technical challenges.

• Coordinate subsequent actions and guarantee sustainable solutions.

• Organize processes and documentation, making knowledge accessible throughout the organization.

• Facilitate collaboration among business departments, IT, and external partners, balancing 50% organization and coordination with 50% hands-on tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree, vocational training, or equivalent practical qualification in an IT-related discipline.

• Several years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision, preferably 2–3 years.

• Knowledge of processes in Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain.

• Proficiency in AL, including independently executed customizations and extensions.

• Familiarity with APIs, web services, and system interfaces.

• Ideally, some experience with integrations related to Business Central.

• A structured, solution-focused, and self-reliant work approach.

• Capability to prioritize demands effectively.

• Strong communication skills when interacting with business departments, IT, and external partners.
