Business Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with founders and senior management, converting data into strategic choices that influence the P&L.

• Oversee the entire analytics process from raw data to actionable business recommendations.

• Leverage internal metrics alongside external benchmarks to pinpoint growth opportunities and margin enhancements.

• Proactively identify and initiate projects that boost efficiency, unit economics, and profitability.

• Perform thorough competitive and market analyses to reveal avenues for growth and monetization.

• Develop business cases and analytical frameworks that guide strategic decision-making.

• Lead strategic initiatives from inception to completion, measuring progress against defined business and margin targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in strategic consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proven experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and delivering data-driven recommendations.

• Practical experience with AI tools for research, workflow automation, and enhancing analytical efficiency.

• A genuine interest in how all facets of the business function and interrelate.

• High levels of ownership and standards, with a record of producing high-quality outcomes.

• Experience managing strategic projects independently from problem identification to implementation (preferred).

• Background in investor relations, preparing investor materials, or assisting with investment transactions such as M&A and fundraising (preferred).

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or BI tools (preferred).
