Business Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collect, assess, document, and oversee business and system requirements

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and business rules

• Create AS IS and TO BE process maps utilizing BPMN and Camunda

• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and potential for process automation

• Analyze integrations and technical specifications based on REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, events, and Kafka

• Review payloads, establish integration contracts, and collaborate with architects and developers on specifications

• Execute queries, validate, and analyze data within Oracle and MongoDB databases

• Assist in the definition and enhancement of solutions for financial products

• Oversee the demand backlog, aiding in refinement, planning, and prioritization activities

• Engage in Agile ceremonies utilizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies

• Generate functional and technical documentation in Jira and Confluence

• Ensure cohesion between business sectors and technical teams throughout the entire demand lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and managing requirements

• Skilled in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and business rules

• Proficient in AS IS and TO BE process modeling using BPMN

• Familiarity with Camunda or other process automation and orchestration tools

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications

• Experience with event-driven integrations and Kafka

• Knowledge of SQL querying

• Background working with Oracle and MongoDB databases

• Experience in managing and prioritizing backlogs

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence

• Familiar with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban

• Experience in projects related to financial products, onboarding, security, fraud prevention, risk, or compliance

• Preferred: experience in financial institutions, credit unions, or fintechs

• Preferred: understanding of integration architecture and microservices

• Preferred: experience with digital journeys for customers or members

• Preferred: experience with digital transformation and process automation initiatives
