API IT Solutions Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver enterprise APIs that support mission-critical applications in sales, service, and claims.

• Collaborate with BRM/BRMC, BSA, project managers, developers, QA, architects, solution designers, and other stakeholders.

• Collect business requirements and convert them into technical and non-functional specifications.

• Manage project timelines, milestones, interdependencies, and the delivery of initiatives.

• Develop and uphold Standard Operating Procedures.

• Create API mapping documents and API specifications.

• Offer subject matter expertise on applications and platforms.

• Review the documentation provided by analysts for accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor and communicate the status of issues and risks.

• Produce and maintain technical requirements, designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, systems mappings, data-flow mappings, database queries, and table updates.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with the creation of systems-related training materials and sessions.

• Extract, analyze, and interpret data while contributing to project reports and dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or another relevant area) or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in system documentation and/or technical writing.

• Proficiency in creating non-functional requirements and translating business needs into non-functional specifications.

• Strong understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.

• Capability to trace transactions within a complex system and document the interactions of systems and overlapping processes.

• Familiarity with industry practices and CSAA IG policies.

• Willingness to travel as necessary for divisional/team meetings and other in-person engagements.

• Must possess authorization to work indefinitely in the United States.
