Business Analyst – Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the strategy for claims migration

• Establish migration objects, migration logic, business rules, and mappings between source and target systems

• Analyze and organize business requirements concerning claims processes, DIOSS transactions and screens, as well as cross-system issues

• Develop functional concepts, business requirements, and materials for decision-making related to migration implementation

• Specify and prepare requirements for customer documents and outputs

• Identify and evaluate business gaps, dependencies, and risks

• Create appropriate solution strategies and actionable recommendations

• Collaborate closely with Business, IT, Architecture, Migration, and other key stakeholders

• Organize and lead business and decision-making meetings

• Offer business support throughout the technical implementation and migration testing phases

• Establish review, testing, and acceptance criteria

• Conduct business quality assurance and accept the implemented solutions

• Document outcomes and decisions, ensuring that corresponding documentation is consistently maintained

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally 3–5 years

• Extensive background in the insurance sector, particularly in claims

• Strong expertise in process analysis and process optimization

• Significant experience in Requirements Engineering and requirements management

• Proficient in identifying business needs and deriving, specifying, and validating business and system requirements

• Capability to analyze and enhance both existing and new systems from a business user standpoint

• Experience in translating strategy and architecture guidelines into tangible processes and implementation initiatives

• Familiarity with creating acceptance criteria and business test cases

• Background in business quality assurance and acceptance
