Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document intricate business requirements.

• Facilitate conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Provide support for internally developed software applications throughout their lifecycle, including managing requirements and enhancing processes.

• Conduct backlog refinement and prioritize requirements in conjunction with product owners and development teams.

• Employ requirements management, process modeling, and documentation tools to devise actionable solutions.

• Analyze business processes and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure that deliverables are in alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies and organizational objectives.

• Work autonomously while effectively collaborating within a team environment.

• Maintain records and assist in ongoing application re-certification processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 10+ years of relevant experience OR a minimum of 8 years with an advanced degree.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Background in supporting software applications throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Experience in gathering and documenting complex business requirements.

• Proven ability to facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with international trade processes, import/export compliance, or customs-related business functions is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with distributed global teams is preferred.

• An Agile background is preferred.

• Experience with system audits is preferred.
