Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead ongoing process enhancement initiatives to fulfill business requirements.

• Organize requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions to collect, analyze, and establish business needs and current processes.

• Convert business needs into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and verifiable acceptance criteria.

• Manage requirements to ensure they remain updated, aligned, and consistent at all levels.

• Illustrate business processes, data flows, and source-to-target or source-to-report relationships.

• Identify KPI measures, formulas, dimensions, filters, exception rules, and data quality regulations.

• Create and maintain data catalogs, business glossaries, and metadata.

• Provide guidance to clients and stakeholders on optimal solutions that satisfy business needs.

• Oversee UAT planning, test case preparation, defect triage, and business approvals.

• Facilitate user involvement in testing, deployment, and implementation processes.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area.

• Previous experience working as an IT Business Analyst.

• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Robust analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve desired results.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and under time constraints.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development processes.

• Proficient in data analysis tools.

• Knowledge of SAP tables and processes in Sales, Finance, RD&E, or Sustainability domains is a plus.

• Experience with Databricks SQL or other cloud data platforms is advantageous.

• Familiarity with dbt documentation and testing is beneficial.

• Understanding of data lineage or catalog tools such as Unity Catalog is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of API/file-interface is favorable.

• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Claude skills, or equivalent reusable AI instructions/workflows is preferred.

• Domain knowledge in Sales, Insights & Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance, or HQ - RD&E and Sustainability; relevant SAP modules and PLM knowledge preferred.
