Build Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the application build and release processes across mobile platforms, consoles, and PC.

• Implement and enhance storefront management tools to ensure seamless delivery.

• Facilitate ongoing enhancements to build and release pipelines.

• Develop and refine tools that support and empower various teams.

• Collaborate with engineers to automate build requirements and provide rapid testing solutions.

• Work closely with Production and Live-Ops teams throughout all stages of a release.

• Contribute to the documentation related to automation, release processes, and pipelines.

• Assist in managing various branches and environments for both development and deployment.

• Help create innovative social games at thatgamecompany.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Build and Release principles and methodologies, including source control (Perforce), branch management, and build testing.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or similar languages.

• Strong comprehension of continuous integration practices.

• Experience with automated build systems such as Jenkins or equivalent platforms.

• Familiarity with task tracking software.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Background in C++ and relevant experience.

• Experience in testing and developing REST APIs (preferred).

• Knowledge of working with storefronts such as Google Play and App Store (preferred).

• Proficiency in Python (preferred).

• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity (preferred).

• Understanding of systems administration across Windows, OSX, and Linux (preferred).

• Experience with software provisioning tools like Ansible (preferred).

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
