Associate Energy Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather and evaluate building utility data, equipment specifications, and operational insights to pinpoint energy conservation possibilities.

• Collaborate with engineers in formulating project scopes, conducting preliminary design calculations, and estimating energy and cost savings.

• Engage in field audits to record equipment details, operating conditions, and control methodologies.

• Assist in the creation of energy models utilizing Excel, eQUEST, Helioscope, and other modeling tools.

• Develop technical summaries, energy savings reports, and presentation materials for internal assessments and client engagements.

• Aid in designing or implementing measurement and verification plans to validate achieved savings.

• Conduct benchmarking and investigate emerging energy technologies, renewable integration, and decarbonization strategies.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to facilitate project proposals and client deliverables.

• Perform additional tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

• Up to one (1) year of experience in a project development capacity.

• Proven interest in sustainability, energy conservation, and emerging energy technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with energy modeling software such as eQUEST and Helioscope is an advantage.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
