Broker Manager, C-Store

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Supervise the activities of an outsourced broker sales team

• Partner with Ferrara customer teams to meet both short-term and long-term performance goals

• Direct merchandising and call coverage strategies for designated retail locations

• Clearly communicate objectives and provide training on products

• Evaluate performance and troubleshoot issues

• Conduct visits to stores, markets, audits, and business reviews

• Inspire, guide, and motivate broker sales staff

• Monitor and evaluate broker performance through observations, collaborative efforts, and analysis of business outcomes

• Formulate and convey action plans with measurable goals

• Create incentive programs to boost results

• Manage financial resources in a responsible manner

• Review coverage plans, frequencies, and key item distribution opportunities

• Engage in annual Customer Plans

• Organize and facilitate leadership market visits

• Share market conditions, retail insights, and audit findings with Broker Management and Customer Teams

• Cultivate relationships with store managers, district managers, store operations staff, and customer teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related discipline

• 2-3 years of experience in retail sales

• 1-2 years of experience in broker or account management is preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Familiarity with Syndicated/POS data is a plus

• Proven experience in leading, motivating, developing, and training teams

• Ability to adapt to change and improve the model

• Experience in creating clear, concise, and high-quality PowerPoint presentations

• Strong work ethic characterized by urgency, accountability, and initiative

• Capability to drive collaboration, execution, accountability, and performance based on data
